The Ohio Voters Bill of Rights Initiative Petition (PDF)  was recently filed with the Ohio Attorney General.  AG action is due on February 14, 2014.  As noted in this Cleveland.com article:

Among other features, the Ohio Voters Bill of Rights would allow Ohioans to register to vote online, something fairly common in other states but which Ohio doesn’t allow…The amendment also allows, as does present Ohio law, a range of ways for an Ohioan to demonstrate his or her identity when voting. But placing those options in the constitution, rather than keeping them in the Revised Code, immunizes those ID guidelines from perennial General Assembly bids to make photo IDs the only acceptable form of identification at Ohio’s polls.

The initiative petition would amend Article I, Section V of the Ohio Constitution.
